Four Favourites
Azera Iced Caramel Latte's are my new food weakness. Add the packet to some cold water and ice, its sweet enough for cravings and refreshing for summer. Delish!
Secondly is Lush Million Dollar Moisturiser. This SPF moisteriser gives the skin a gorgeous glow and is oily enough for my very dry skin type. For oily skin types I think this would be your worst nightmare, but to add a glow to dull looking skin and adding some extra protection this is perfect. I will be repurchasing this as soon as I'm out!
My current favourite perfume is Black Opium Nuit Blanche from YSL. It's a dark, warm, and sexy perfume with notes of white coffee, orange blossom and vanilla, as well as hints of musk. It's a little bit lighter than the original black opium, but just as gorgeous.
Lastly its the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette. This is my perfect eye shadow palette. The colours are smooth and buttery, and very complimentary to my eye colour and skin tone. Every colour is very wearable with a mixture of mattes and shimmers. I haven't needed to reach for my urban decay naked 1 palette, as I feel all the colours I need to complete an eye look are here.
Monday's Most Used
Unfortunately I didn't post last Monday due to a busy schedule - bank holidays and all that!
Firstly I've found a new love for the Ole Henrikson invigorating night treatment. This is a chemical ex-foliater with AHA's to dissolve the layer of dead skin I the surface without using abrasive ex-foliates. I put this on at night with an oil over the top to soothe my skin, and then in the morning I have beautifully soft skin with a smooth feel to it.
This whole month really I've been loving the Stila colour corrector serum with some Soap and Glory Hocus Focus illuminator to add some glow into my skin. I really dislike wearing foundation and how it looks on my skin. But this is the perfect combination to correct my skin tone and add a gorgeous glowy look.
On my eyes I've been enjoying the Maxfactor Masterpiece eyeshadow in the shade coffee. It's a gorgeous muted brown in a lovely creamy formula that's so easy to blend to create an effortless look. Adding coats of the L'oreal superstar false lash mascara again. Adding volume and length in this two step system. Gorgeous results!
Lastly I've loved the Maxfactor creme puff blush in seductive pink. It adds a beautiful pop of colour whilst looking subtle and glowy. The perfect look right now. Underneath I like to use the L'oreal Nude Magique BB blush to add an extra depth under the blush. It's a silicone formula so the creme puff blush sits nicely in top and creates more colour.
Monday Most Used
I was so busy last Monday I didn't have time to post last weeks favourite items!
I love doing a weekly favorites as it allows me to change up my products every week, but also makes sure I'm using up my products and not leaving them at the back of the draw to get lost forever.
I haven't been wearing much in the way of bases recently, I still use my Stila One Step color corrector most days to even out my skin tone, but I've been pretty barefaced this week. I've been adding my new Benefit Rockateur blush to the apples of cheeks and up towards my cheek bones to add an out door looking glow. The blush is a beautiful 'dirty' pink shade with plenty of shimmer to add a nice highlight, but without the chunks of glitter. I find this blush really compliments my skin tone and is incredibly wearable.
Secondly I've been loving the mascara from L'Oreal Miss Manga. I love the wand of this mascara as it really grips the lashes, and it holds a curl pretty well considering how straight my lashes are, that's where my most used tool comes in - my models own eye lash curlers. These are super easy to use and create a nice natural curl to my lashes to open my eyes up, and allows mascara to look a bit more 'fluttery.'
On my eyes I've been keeping it quite natural with my Urban Decay Naked palette. I especially love the colors, Buck, Half Baked and Smog. I use Buck all over the lid pretty much every day to add a bit of depth and definition to my eyes, and if i feel I need a little extra I'll add smog or half baked for some shimmer. I'm going to start experimenting more with the purple shades in this palette. I find it very hard to wear blacks though, so Creep and Gunmetal rarely get used - maybe I'll have a little try next week.
Lastly I've been loving the Barry M speedy range in the color 'Eat My Dust.' This is real pastel sunflower blue which really catches your eyes. Unfortunately due to my line of work it chips so easily and I have to re-apply most days but I love the color. It's the perfect color to add some nail art too.
What have you been using this week? And what would you like to see reviewed on here?
