I have naturally frizzy, half curly hair - which can be quite temperamental especially in the warmer months. I finally found some great products which help to tame the frizz!
Lee Stafford have always had really inventive and interesting products, the CoCo LoCo range is right up my street, sweet smelling coconut oil in two innovative formulas. First off is the Blow and Go Genius Lotion. I put this on damp wet hair, and find it helps smooth out frizz and helps my hair dry in a much smoother finish. The Light Serum Spray is so sweet smelling it's like a perfume, this helps add shine to my hair in a really fine spray. Because the tips of my hair is dyed blonde, it can look dry and brittle, but this serum spray stops that and makes it look healthy.
Another Lee Stafford product I picked up (thanks to the boots clearance section!) was the Ubunto Repair Oil. I've had oils before but have found they don't always make the situation better! This is super light weight and makes my hair look so healthy!
Lastly is a little travel size Frizz Ease 6 effects serum. I keep this in my handbag for when my ends get dry and I need a little shine. A little goes a long way with this! Use too much and you'll look like a greasy weasel - not a good look!
Azera Iced Caramel Latte's are my new food weakness. Add the packet to some cold water and ice, its sweet enough for cravings and refreshing for summer. Delish!
Secondly is Lush Million Dollar Moisturiser. This SPF moisteriser gives the skin a gorgeous glow and is oily enough for my very dry skin type. For oily skin types I think this would be your worst nightmare, but to add a glow to dull looking skin and adding some extra protection this is perfect. I will be repurchasing this as soon as I'm out!
My current favourite perfume is Black Opium Nuit Blanche from YSL. It's a dark, warm, and sexy perfume with notes of white coffee, orange blossom and vanilla, as well as hints of musk. It's a little bit lighter than the original black opium, but just as gorgeous.
Lastly its the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette. This is my perfect eye shadow palette. The colours are smooth and buttery, and very complimentary to my eye colour and skin tone. Every colour is very wearable with a mixture of mattes and shimmers. I haven't needed to reach for my urban decay naked 1 palette, as I feel all the colours I need to complete an eye look are here.
I love lipbalms. I don't just love them, I need them. I have one in every bag I own and at least two in the house somewhere, as my lips always feel parched and uncomfortable throughout the day.
I usually stay away from cosmetic 'tinted' lipbalms as they never give the same hydrating benefits as the likes of 'Carmex' or 'Burts Bee's' and I normally find them quite gimicky.
So after treating myself at the Benefit counter the other day, I though't I'd pick up the beautifully packaged 'Posiebalm' as a little treat. It's in a gorgeous neutral pink shade that anyone can wear, and is housed in gorgeous pink metallic casing.
As soon as I tried it, my lips felt hydtared and comfortable, and even had a nice little hint of pink to them. I was pleasently surprised! - and theres nothing better than taking out that pretty packaging and reapplying it in public.
It is super pricey for a tinted lipbalm, but for a little treat, and something that actually works - I'd certainly repurachse some more in different colours, Chacha Balm is a beautiful peachy orange, and Benebalm is a nice muted cherry red. The only one I wouldn't wear is Lollibalm - an orchid purple shade that has a very blue tint to it.
